Although Christmas has come and gone, there are still many visitors in San Francisco at the moment. The streets are packed with cars and pedestrians all looking to have a good time. If you find yourself in this predicament, or perhaps knowing someone who is, Classic Cable Car tours are the way to go.
If you have friends or family visiting, this is a great way to introduce them to the city you live in. Within two hours on our Cable Car you will have learned remarkable facts about the Presidio National Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, Pacific Heights, Nob Hill, Chinatown, Union Square, Little Italy, and Fisherman's Wharf, all while being on a moving landmark itself (Our Cable Cars date back from the late 1800s and originally ran on the California Street line).
You will have seen scenery in movies from Mrs. Doubtfire, The Maltese Falcon as well as scenery included in Alfred Hitchcock and Steve McQueen movies.
This weekend our two hour tour of the city is going out at 11am, 1:30, and 4pm. To get your tickets visit
classiccablecar.com or call 415-596-9929 from 10:30am-4pm Pacific Standard Time.

Classic Cable Cars are Stars!!!
Well, we think its been mentioned before, but in case you didn't know, our Classic Cable Cars are stars!
It is not an uncommon thing for our cable cars to be rented out for movies, commercials or telivision shows.
Awhile back we were featured in a commercial for the Audi S4. 10,000 points goes to the person that can tell me what language this is in:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mubxBqxZVi0
Don't forget our Cable Cars are still available all year around although we are currently on our winter schedule of 11, 1:30pm, and 4pm.

Giants Victory Parade!
It always seems that there is some special event pretty much every week in San Francisco but tomorrow is a rare and special occasion.
As you all very well may know by now the Giants won the World Series, a feat that has only happened once before and that was in 1954!
We are tremendously excited to announce that we will be leading the procession at the Giant's victory parade tomorrow.
We will have 15 Cable Cars as well as 4 Ducks in the celebration and we will travel along the route that the Giant's first took upon arriving to San Francisco from New York in 1958. The procession will then end at Civic Center, where San Francisco Mayor, Gavin Newsom will present to the team, the Key to the City.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and take public transportation.
The parade starts tomorrow morning at 11:00 am on Montgomery and Washington streets, it will then head south.
We'd love to see you guys out there and please send any pictures you might get!

Classic Cable Cars taken over by Zombies!
It's the season of ghosts, vampires, and ghouls. The latter in particular paid a visit to our Classic Cable Cars, but don't worry, we're all still alive and well here. We just had our Cable Cars rented out to promote AMC's new show "The Walking Dead." Zombies filled our cars and its likely, made lots of pedestrians freak out.
"The Walking Dead" started out as a monthly comic publication and was so popular, AMC decided to make a show out of it. The comic series itself won the Eisner award from the 2010 San Diego Comic Con and its television premiere has been hyped by fans of the series.
It's not uncommon for the Cable Cars at Classic Cable Car Partners to be rented out for promotional use. Part of what we do as a business is rent out for private charters. These are used for movies, weddings, and private events. Anyone who'd like to do so can contact our group sales representatives at 415-922-2425.
You can see the trailer for the show which premieres this Halloween, Sunday, October 31st at 10/9c below.
